Head Chef – Bellingdale Farm | Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Chef at recently restored rural tourism facility at Bellingdale farm.  The successful candidate will have a natural passion for the paddock to plate concept and exciting ideas for the opening of our restaurant.  The restaurant will utilise the vast supply of local produce and you will develop menus to suit seasonal availability.  You will be responsible for a team of skilled Chefs, who you will guide through all aspects of the kitchen, providing quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant, events and rural tourism focussed environment. The venue is only 25 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport and is the latest addition to a multi-award-winning hospitality operation.

The venue is set on 130 acres of farmland and you will assist in selecting and maintaining our fruit and vegetable crops to ensure the produce from this is utilised in the restaurant menu.  The property is also home to our Speckle Park stud and commercial cattle operation.

As we are set on 70+ acres of land we deliver a paddock to plate experience, with our established fruit and vegetable crops, the desired applicant will be ready to get their hands dirty assisting in harvesting and maintaining our produce from time-to-time.
